Specific Donations

We often receive requests in regards to making a specific donation. If there is something that you would like to do specifically for one or all of the schools, we are always more than happy to work with you to see your idea come to fruition. For example:

Chris and Linda Cotton donated a video and TV. It is run off a solar panel, through a car battery and works very well. Both educational and wildlife videos are very popular. The youngest children come in on Saturday mornings for extra reading lessons and their reward is a video. It is wonderful to see 40 faces glued to the TV watching a wildlife video! In a community that does not have any mains power or running water it is quite a treat.

Elizabeth Walker generously sponsored the building of a teacher’s house.

Stella Pirie Williams and Tony Williams kindly paid for the installation of a large solar system at Kawaza, allowing for computers and DVDs to run and also for evening classes to start.
